The year 2010 will mark a consecutive 9th year for Cityscape to be held in Dubai. But given the event’s immense international popularity, Cityscape Management has decided to rename this world’s top real estate event from Cityscape Dubai to Cityscape Global.

As the event attracts more international participants than any other Cityscape event in the world, the change of name is aimed at acknowledging the place of the event as a significant international platform in the real estate sector. In addition to its immensely growing international renown, Cityscape Dubai has also evolved into a major global real estate platform on which real estate professionals from across the world converge every year to spark a new revolution in the property industry.

Cityscape Dubai 2009 recorded 25 percent of registered participants from outside the UAE, which translates into almost 10,000 participants flying in from 115 different countries. The renaming also reflects the new vision of the management with an equal 50-50 distribution of participants over the next two years.

Now that the event has been renamed to Cityscape Global, the management has also widened its scope to make sure it does full justice to the new name. Cityscape Global 2010, due to be held at the Dubai World Trade Center in October, is hoped to attract more international developers, professionals and architects than ever before. Some already confirmed participants of the event include Dubai’s giant developers Nakheel and Emaar. There will be six conferences running simultaneously at Cityscape Global, while the delegates will be able to access any of the sessions across any of the conferences for a single price. Some newly introduced business initiatives such as Cityscape Connect, City Leaders Forum and CEO Breakfasts will serve as face-lifting tools for the event.
