In the center of Dubai Sports City, an innovative destination inspired by all things sports, will be a new residential development called Champions Tower III. This development, funded by Menon Investments, will be a welcome addition to Champions Tower I and II and Frankfurt Sports Tower, and will give investors in Sports City more choice in terms of location, services and convenience.
There is currently a strong demand for residential space in Dubai Sports City. An estimated 1.8 million square meters of the sports-themed development has been handed over to residential space, while 2.8 million square meters has been dedicated to roads, canals, stadiums and golf courses. Champions Tower III will fill this demand and will have a range of studio, one and two bedroom apartments. The tower will also have a swimming pool, gym, sauna and basement parking.
Champions Tower III will stand in contrast to the other towers in the Sports City community. The 16 storey building will have panoramic views of the Dubai Cricket Stadium and will have a simple and modern design. Menon investment believes this will allow the tower’s development to be as simple and economical as possible, both in terms of time and money. This is particularly important as the tower, which was in the planning stages as early as 2004, was started in 2008 but was then put on hold several months later due to the economic recession. It is now in the development stages and is due for handover in June 2012.
