A large change is taking place in Dubai property management. Property owners are now having a say over who manages their building and at what price. It is believed that many developers have over charged the owners for the maintenance of the building, and have been generating a nice profit over the last few years. However with the Strata Law, many buildings have already changed the management from the initially selected maintenance company which was earlier assigned by the developer. With many properties in Dubai owned by landlords who are located out of Dubai, and from different cultures and backgrounds, will everything go smoothly and be of benefit to all the owners, the building, and the reputation of the developer. Many argue that some owner will just look to push the price of maintenance down, and this can have a damaging effect to the building and the reputation of the developer in the long run.
